Parenting time is usually ordered in a Divorce or Legal Separation but if you need to establish parenting time with the other parent because you were unmarried when the child was born, then we can prepare Paternity documents that order that the Father of the child is the Father and include parenting time, legal decision making and child support.
Do you already have a parenting time order in Arizona that is more than 1 year old and need to modify the days and times for each parent? We can prepare file and serve the parenting time modification documents for you. Most parenting time orders require that you attend mediation prior to filing a Petition to Modify Parenting Time. We are able to prepare a Request for Mediation if you want to attend mediation through the Court. Some parents prefer to attend mediation with a private mediation service rather than through the Conciliation Court and that option is available. In the event that Mediation is unsuccessful in obtaining a parenting plan that’s right for both parents then we will include the attempt at Mediation inside your Petition to Modify Parenting Time and the results of the attempt to get you on your way to a hearing.
